When I first went to the University I had a hard time focusing on my studies. I knew that I would be going into the military and without that I didn’t know what I wanted to study. Being restless we decided to excuse our class to go to an assembly. Since many of the assemblies were optional the teacher could decide whether he/she wanted to dismiss the class to attend. What we did was write a note excusing the class and then positing the note on the teacher’s door. Students who got there before the teacher would read the note and leave. Fortunately, we only pulled this stunt sever times before we matured and took things more seriously.
